On April 15, starting at 17:00 PM, the extraordinary electoral assembly was held in the conference room at the International Hotel Prishtina for the purpose of electing the president and new executive board of the federation.
Of the 38 delegates with voting rights, 36 were present in the hall.
Also present were representatives from the Kosovo Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Assembly was opened by the temporary commission for organizing the elections, composed of Sheremet Hoti, Besim Hajdari and Ridvan Hashani, who presented the agenda and opened the proposals for the election verification commission.
The two candidates for mayor, Nehat Çitaku and Ylli Maloku, presented their programs to the attendees, and after the presentations they answered questions from delegates and other attendees.
After the voting and counting process, with 20 votes, Nehat Çitaku was elected chairman.
In his welcoming speech, he thanked the delegates for the trust they had placed in him, emphasizing that this was both a great responsibility and a great privilege.
He expressed that he will do his utmost to ensure that the federation's table tennis activity is at the highest possible level, with a focus on quality and transparency.
Meanwhile, new members of the executive board were elected:
