A NATO ship with an Italian flag has been stationed for three days in the port of Vlora, as part of an inspection mission of the TAP gas pipeline, which continues towards Italy.
Sources indicate that during its stay in Albanian waters, technical verifications and monitoring were carried out along the marine segment of the pipeline, which is considered one of the strategic energy supply infrastructures in the region.
According to the same sources, the mission was concluded today and the ship is expected to leave the port of Vlora in the coming hours.
Authorities have not yet provided official details on the inspection results. /Euronews
