Kejvina Kthjella has reported to the police a girl she had known for a short time, after she claims that she took 8 thousand euros that she had left for safekeeping.
According to the model's testimony at Police Station No. 3 in Tirana, she was going to leave for a few days in Lezha and was afraid to leave the money in the apartment, as the cleaner would enter the house, reports journalist Elton Qyno.
Kejvina revealed that during a conversation in a cafe with Anela Osmani, the latter offered to keep the euros in her safe until she returned.
The model claims that on April 18, she handed over 8 euros, savings accumulated over the years, and two days later, when she returned to Tirana, she started asking for the money.
According to the report, Anela Osmani gave him various excuses, initially telling him that she had blocked the safe code.
On April 22, the two opened the safe with the help of specialists, but no amount of money was found there.
Kejvina stated that her friend then told her that she had put the money in the bank and that she would return it, but for days she continued with other excuses, claiming problems with the bank, family situations, and even a burglary in the apartment.
After the report, the police arrested Anela Osmani for fraud.
In her testimony, Osmani admitted that she had taken the money for safekeeping, but stated that she used it due to personal and health problems.
She told investigators that she would return the entire amount to Kejvina within a month.
