Michael Schumacher's brother, Ralf, is reportedly set to marry less than two years after coming out publicly as gay.

Ralf Schumacher – a successful former Formula 1 driver with Jordan, Williams and Toyota between 1997 and 2007 – revealed in July 2024 that he was in a relationship with a same-sex partner.

According to German media outlet Bild, he is planning a three-day wedding in Saint-Tropez this May.

Schumacher, 50, is expected to marry partner Etienne Bousquet-Cassagne, who is 14 years his junior.

His ex-wife, Cora, sent her congratulations, despite the public criticism she made of Ralf after the breakup.

She said: "My partner Steven and I wish Ralf and Etienne all the best and much happiness."

Cora and Ralf married in 2001 and spent 13 years together, giving birth to their son David.

Cora has already found love with new partner Steven Bo Bekendam, a 44-year-old American, and says she is not in contact with either Ralf or their son.

After the divorce, she even burned her wedding dress and publicly revealed that Ralf is "blocked" on her phone.

The six-time Grand Prix winner is believed to spend most of the year in the south of France with his partner Etienne.

The Schumacher brothers retired from Formula 1 as legends, but only one has been in the spotlight since Michael's serious skiing accident in 2013.

The seven-time world champion spent months in a coma after hitting his head on a rock, and his family has kept his condition a secret ever since.

Ralf has also been reserved about his brother's condition and has hinted that he has distanced himself from his family, telling Bunte in 2023: "Unfortunately, sometimes life is not fair. We have to accept it. When I see Gina-Maria and Mick, my heart smiles. If someone in the family asks for my advice, I am there. They follow their own path."/Express newspaper/
