One of the leaders of VLEN, Izet Mexhiti, says that VLEN set new standards and values in the Albanian political bloc and that they are not afraid of early parliamentary elections.
"We witnessed and brought changes to the Albanian political bloc after 20 years, not individually, but as a team. First, we united the opposition, overcoming party affiliations and colors, because I believe in teamwork. Every week we meet as the VALENT coalition, we talk about the program, what we have promised, and together we get things done." said Mexhiti in "Samo intervju" on "Kanal5".
Mexhiti also said that VALEN is not afraid of early parliamentary elections and if this were to happen, it would be the end for DUI.
"I haven't heard from them lately, and even if there is a possibility of early elections, they are the first to run away from it, because it would mean the end of them. This year is the only year where there will be no elections, it is the government's space to implement the program that was promised and for the moment I assess that there is no need to hold early elections since this majority is historically the largest in the Assembly.", said Mexhit.
