Burim Meta, former advisor to Vjosa Osmani, on the show "Këndi i debatit" on Tëvë1, spoke about recent political developments and relations with LDK.
He announced that final decisions regarding cooperation and involvement in the LDK are expected to be made at the meeting of the General Council of this party.
"We are returning to Saturday, where the LDK General Council is, where the decision is made on the form of cooperation and the number of candidates who will represent. We are approaching 20 people per list, but there are no precise decisions and this proves once again that we are for principled cooperation for the purposes of Kosovo, in the proper functioning of institutions and getting out of this institutional deadlock," Meta declared.
He added that the goal of this cooperation is to overcome the political crisis and return to normal functioning of institutions.
"We will not compete separately, but we will return to our home and be on the LDK list," he said.
Speaking about his current position, Meta emphasized that he continues to be part of President Osmani's team, while also confirming his intention to return to LDK.
"My status is in the team of President Vjosa Osmani and we are on our way to LDK, of course to aim again for the position of president through LDK. The interest in returning and being part of this ideology is extremely great," Meta said.
He added that Osmani is expected to have a key role in this process.
"We will be part of the LDK and of course Vjosa Osmani will be the bearer of the list, and this was accepted very easily by the LDK," Meta declared.
