Mervete Krasniqi from Malisheva will donate her liver to her 22-year-old daughter; she asked for help to finance the operation of 60 thousand euros, which were collected within two days.

But soon Mervete Krasniqi will be reunited with her daughter, Fatlume Shala. The latter is in Turkey because she needs a liver transplant. The vital organ for life will be donated by her mother.
"Everything is for my children," declared Mervete Krasniqi.
This is the second surgery the 22-year-old girl will undergo for the same procedure.
"8 years ago, I gave it to her brother, now the doctors say that I am already capable of adapting to it, this came as a result of my mother using medication without therapy because I couldn't go to Turkey every 6 months for checkups," she added.
The amount requested for the operation was 60 thousand euros.
Within two days, this amount was reached thanks to the help of citizens, now all Krasniqi is asking for is money for future checks.
"I'm surprised that the money was raised so quickly, thank you very much, now all we need is to be able to continue the checks," she says.
The amount was raised thanks to the commitment of many citizens.
A physiotherapy practice in the Municipality of Malisheva will donate this Saturday's winnings to Fatlume.
"We expressed our desire to help you... and it was very well received by the patients."
