Former Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has announced that he has made another visit to The Hague, where he met with former Chairman of the PDK and former Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli.
Through a public post, Krasniqi said that, even after long years of legal proceedings, Veseli and his comrades continue to maintain dignity, calm and faith in justice.
"Today, another visit to The Hague, to meet President Kadri Veseli. Even after all these long and difficult years, he and his comrades continue to uphold dignity, calm and faith in justice," Krasniqi wrote.
He described Veseli as unwavering in his convictions and with great love for Kosovo, emphasizing that the long wait and constant postponements of the decision are making the entire process more difficult.
"As always, strong in his convictions, with undying love for Kosovo and great longing for his people and country. This long wait is not easy for anyone, especially when the decision continues to be postponed and the process drags on endlessly," the post says.
Krasniqi reiterated his belief in the innocence of the former KLA leaders and requested that the process end as soon as possible with a fair and impartial decision.
"We are counting the days until their return where they belong: to their homeland, to their families and the people of Kosovo. Until then, greetings to all from the President and his friends!", concluded Krasniqi.
