Meghan Markle launched a raspberry jam under her own brand that she said was homemade, but it was revealed that the product was, in fact, industrially produced. Markle claims that the jam, which sells for £6.50 a jar, was based on a recipe she created at home.
But, according to recent reports, the jam is not hers, but was produced at a factory in Illinois, more than 2,000 miles away from Montecito, California.
Although a video of the fruit mixture simmering in the Duchess's kitchen was shared on Instagram, the jam was made by an American company that also produces the herbal teas sold under Meghan's brand.
The same factory is also responsible for Markle's other orange blossom honey, which she sells for £21 a jar. So far, neither Meghan Markle nor Prince Harry have come out publicly to speak on the subject.
