Political commentator Agon Maliqi has reacted to the political situation in the country, after the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, announced that she has issued a decree to dissolve the Parliament.
Maliqi, commenting on the issue of the 30-day and 60-day deadlines, said that he "does not understand" how the start date of the 60-day process can have more weight than the very specific deadline for electing the president, Express reports.
Maliqi also stated that "it seems" that VV's goal is to hold "the presidency hostage with an acting president."

With this procedural logic, the first party – to which the head of the Assembly automatically belongs – can indefinitely hold the presidency hostage with acting presidents. Which seems to be the goal of this party, which will not stop until it has every institution under its full control, from the hunters' association to local communities.
