The leader of the opposition in Hungary, Péter Magyar, has stated that he received a congratulatory call for the victory from Viktor Orbán, signaling acceptance of the result at this stage of the vote counting.
In the parliamentary elections, with 53% of votes counted, the Tisza Party continues to hold a clear lead in the results so far.
According to current data:
Tisza Party: 136 seats
Fidesz – KDNP: 56 seats
Mi Hazánk Mozgalom: 7 seats
Fidesz remains in second place in these results.
With these figures, the Tisza Party crosses the majority threshold in parliament of 199 seats, securing the majority needed to form a government, if the current trend is confirmed by the end of the counting.
