"We will complete the investigation into the explosives near Kanjizha professionally, we will inform Hungary as a good neighbor," Vučić said on RTS on Monday.

Commenting on Peter Magyar's statement that he will insist that the investigation into the explosives recently found in Kanjizha, near the gas pipeline, be carried to the end and what happened determined, Aleksandar Vučić said that Serbia will continue and complete the investigation in a very professional and objective manner.

"This is not his country and he has no competence in this country to conduct investigations. We conduct investigations in a very, very professional and objective manner. I remained silent even when they lied that this was staged and that it was a 'false flag', because I did not want to interfere in the elections," Vučić said.

He added that the investigation has so far revealed "many things," but that they did not want to talk about them because, as he said, there were many traps and provocations. According to him, someone wanted to involve a phone call from Pristina, without saying who.

"Because someone wanted us to say that a phone number in Pristina had called an embassy here, so that stories could then be created about this and one side could be accused of something. And we intentionally did not want to inform the public about this," Vučić added.

"We will inform him as good neighbors, as, we believe, good friends, about the extent of our investigation and we will show him that he was wrong to believe the gossip of the tabloids and others that someone had staged something somewhere," Vucic said.

Commenting on Magyarir's statement that he "knows who the godfather is" of the relations between Robert Fico, Viktor Orbán and Vučić, the Serbian President said that the three have a common godfather, but he is not Vladimir Putin, but freedom.

“Our common godfather is freedom. Our common godfather is freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of action. Our common godfather is to love our country more than anyone and everything else in this world. This is what our common denominator is,” Vučić said. He added, “that one knows who one’s friend is and that one does not give up on one’s friends, whether in good or bad.”

The "finding" of explosives in gas infrastructure within Serbia's territory a week before the elections had sparked reactions.

The "EuropeanDemocrats" coalition had interpreted this as an attempt by Vučić to help Viktor Orbán in the elections, as the polls do not show him well.
