The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade informs that to date, within the framework of the evacuation process, 505 citizens of Macedonia have been registered at the Embassy of Macedonia in Abu Dhabi, of which 458 are staying in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, 31 people have been registered from Kuwait and 14 people from Bahrain. In Doha, to date, 141 citizens of the Republic of Macedonia have been registered.
"Persons who have expressed their willingness to be evacuated from Israel are expected to fly to Skopje this afternoon on a government plane. This will fully complete the process of returning all citizens who have requested evacuation from Israel. In the coming days, the return of citizens from the United Arab Emirates is expected, as well as citizens in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, for whom return is planned on organized flights through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.
The evacuation process is being implemented according to an already drafted plan, in accordance with security conditions and in coordination with competent institutions, the MFA says.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade once again calls on all citizens of Macedonia who have not yet contacted the competent diplomatic and consular representations, and who need assistance, to do so as soon as possible through the duty phone numbers of the diplomatic and consular representations or through the SOS number of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade," the MFA said.
