The President of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, Ekaterina Trandafilova, is expected to be given an official invitation to report to the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Labor, Family, Values of the Liberation War and Petitions of the Assembly of Kosovo, KosovaPress reports.
This is the first initiative by a member of the Kosovo Assembly to report Trandafilova to one of the Kosovo Assembly committees.
The Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Labor, Family, Values of the Liberation War and Petitions will tomorrow (Monday) consider for a vote the proposal of PDK MP, Artan Behrami, to send an official invitation for reporting to the President of the Specialized Chambers, Ekaterina Trandafilova.
The Kosovo Assembly has announced that the meeting of this committee, where this agenda item and other issues will be addressed, will be held on Monday, starting at 10:00, although it was scheduled to start at 08:30.
Trandafilova had a conversation with civil society and media in Kosovo on November 29, 2023, which was followed by protests outside the hotel where the conversation was taking place. The protest was organized by the PSD supported by the OVL-UCK, a protest that escalated.
Meanwhile, a press conference announced last year failed for Trandafilova due to a protest by veterans near the hotel where the conference was expected to be held. /Kosovapress
