A mysterious creature, estimated to be the size of three grown men, has been seen emerging from the depths of Loch Ness, in footage described as "strange and fascinating".
Eoin O'Faodhagain said he was "astonished" when he spotted something about 5 metres long appearing on the water's surface through a webcam.
"I saw a large, brown-black creature emerging from the surface and creating a strange circular motion. I didn't know what spectacle was unfolding before my eyes. I had never seen such a movement – it was very strange and fascinating," he said.
In Eoin's footage, an enigmatic shape appears in the loch, just off the shore. The veteran Nessie hunter has estimated the creature to be around 17 feet long and 5 feet wide.
"There are no known creatures in the lake of this size," he added.
"I think it might be a member of the Nessie family."
The video was recorded on September 23rd, via the Clansman Hotel webcam, run by Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN). Eoin, 61, said the footage reminded him of a report from 1992.
He explained that that previous video showed an object in the water also moving in a circular motion, but in that case the water was turbulent, while now the surface of the lake was calm and there were no traces of the boat to explain the movement.
“What makes this footage unique is that there are no other similar recordings,” he said.
"Loch Ness researchers may have a difficult task explaining this sight to the public."

Rumors of a strange creature in Loch Ness have existed for decades, but little evidence has been found to support these claims.
