KF Llapi has officially reacted after the minimal 1-0 loss to Drenica, raising serious concerns about a disputed refereeing decision that, according to them, directly affected the outcome of the match.
The club from Podujevo announces that it initially chose not to react immediately, awaiting the official assessment from the Kosovo Football Federation expert.
However, after analysis of the situation by refereeing expert Petrit Hadri, Llapi emphasizes that many uncertainties remain regarding the decision of the linesman, who raised the flag for a ball out at a key moment in the game.
According to the reaction, the interrupted action was clean and had great potential for a goal, while the referee's intervention was considered hasty and detrimental to the course of the match.
Llapi also questions the improper application of the VAR system, emphasizing that the action should have been allowed to continue and then verified.
"At a time when VAR is in operation, it is incomprehensible why play was stopped in the middle of the action, denying us a clear scoring opportunity," the club said in a statement.
According to Llapi, even FFK expert Petrit Hadri described the situation as questionable and influential in the match, which further raises doubts about the decision made on the field.
