Regarding the situation created in the PDK Branch in Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci has given an opinion in which he emphasized that he will not repeat the experience of the Acting President.
His opinion on fb:
I will not repeat the experience of the Acting Prime Minister!
In the circumstances created regarding the branch of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in Drenas, following the resignation of the appointed Acting President, I have received many supportive messages from citizens, the membership, as well as questions from the media about whether I am returning as President of the Branch.
I do not claim to become the acting chairman of the PDK Branch in Drenas again, nor to be appointed by decision of the Chairman, as long as the decision of 2025 is in effect, which authorizes the Chairmanship to hold votes on the candidacies of the mayors of the municipality. This decision hurts the meritocracy, continuity and achievements of the Branch with its loyal membership.
I accepted to be an acting minister once, but I won't do it the second time. I won't repeat this experience.
In 2021, I expected the decision of the PDK Chairman to be respected, who, through party mechanisms, evaluates and proposes the candidacy, but not a vote, placing the responsibility on schemes to punish or reward a candidate.
The resignation of the Acting President has neither brought me closer nor distanced me from PDK.
I have been, am and remain in PDK, I have emphasized this since the day the votes in the Presidency decided against me, a time when in the last central elections as Acting President and Head of Election Headquarters we had received 19.614 votes and I was declared performance champion seven times.
I have stated many times, even years ago, that I have no claims to lead the PDK branch in Drenas. I have requested that I not even be in the leadership position and that a young man or woman from our municipality be appointed in my place.
Now I did not expect delayed actions and misleading or divisive messages towards the PDK bastion. My victory on October 12, and PDK's on December 28, were not a coincidence, even those I had and am against in the party and in the Municipality should know this.
Today, despite the voices that say that "the way has been cleared" and now I can lead the Branch and Headquarters for the June 7 elections, I don't take it too seriously.
Losers cannot promote or sell visions for PDK. They may receive leadership salaries, but the lessons and praise are stale.
My contribution and that of all our assembly members, municipal directors, with sub-branches, local headquarters, supporters and the inclusive membership, like never before, we will be mobilized for the victory of PDK and PDK candidates in the municipality of Drenas and beyond.
The evening of June 7th will be a proud one in the municipality of Drenas with echoes to our heroes of war and peace.
