I am not on the electoral list as a candidate for either MP or Prime Minister. I ask for unity for the great victory of February 9, I ask for votes for Bedri Hamza as Prime Minister. This request of mine is as the head of the PDK Branch, as a citizen and mayor.
At the Branch Presidency meeting on October 3, I also asked for votes for the candidates for deputies from Drenas. This invitation of mine is not the first. Even in 2021, I invited the citizens of the Drenas Municipality to vote for the candidates from Drenas. Everyone knows this well, both in the party and in the media, I made a public invitation. I now call on the citizens of the Drenas Municipality: To vote with priority for the PDK candidates from our municipality!
I am not responsible if the citizens of the Drenas municipality vote for PDK candidates from other municipalities. One fact: In the neighboring municipality, PDK candidates from the Drenas municipality received 3.900 votes, while candidates from that municipality in Drenas received over 14.500 votes.
This disproportion of votes of candidates from the municipality of Drenas is the fundamental cause of the division that others are creating in Drenas. In the PDK bastion, not having a single MP with votes from Drenas should be a concern. Unfortunately, some are working to make the municipality of Drenas want only to "fish" for votes.
Drenas should be represented by candidates from the Drenas municipality, naturally, but if the citizens of the Drenas municipality do not trust them, it is not Ramiz Lladrovci's fault. I know that in Drenas we have politicians who consider it beneath their level to seek votes here. They should know the reasons for this better, why they do not get votes in Drenas and take it in my name.
I know that some politicians from Drenas deserve to be present at the UN and the European Parliament, but the municipality of Drenas cannot currently offer this to them, nor can I as mayor. Currently, these big politicians can only get votes for the Kosovo Assembly. I know that some people don't like Drenas, but it's not my fault. Everyone should know one thing: Drenas, as a bastion, has the potential to have 10 deputies in the Assembly.
I invite the malicious commentators, especially those who think they are with PDK and work against it, if they love PDK as they declare, it is time for them to shut up and work for the victory of PDK with Bedri Hamza as Prime Minister. And for the local elections, here I am, just as I have shown the place to other parties and the malicious in three elections, with the citizens I will show the place to them again.
