Liverpool have added a new section to their official website as a tribute to Diogo Jota following his untimely death.
On July 3, Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, lost their lives when their car crashed in the early hours of the morning in northern Spain.
The 28-year-old striker recently tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart in a ceremony in his native Portugal, after a season that ended with successes and trophies with both club and national team.
Following the tragic event, Liverpool announced that Jota's number 20 shirt would be retired immediately at all levels, after consultation with his wife and family.
Since then, the club has expanded the tribute to its official website.
In the section of the page where the men's first team is ranked by position, a link to Jota's profile is immortalized under the subtitle 'forever'.
Jota's profile now features a tribute to the striker, which ends with the sentence: "He will always be our number 20."
