Former envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, was revealed to have exchanged messages about girls and diplomacy with the now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Questions have begun to arise in the European Union about these messages that have become public.

A journalist asked European Commission spokespeople whether Lajcak's work as head of the dialogue process should be reviewed to see if he was under any foreign influence, Gazeta Express reports.

"Miroslav Lajcak was the Special Representative in the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue. My question is related to the recent revelations - including those that speak of the so-called Russian "honeypots", the involvement of prostitutes, etc., as well as the fact that we see many conversations about women between Epstein and Lajcak. Do these revelations cast a shadow on his work as Special Representative? And should it be reconsidered whether he acted under any foreign influence?", was the question of a journalist.

No concrete answer was received, but the EU said they are being informed about these published files.

Lajcak resigned from his current position as national security adviser to the Slovak prime minister following the publication of the latest Epstein files.

In a message exchange from October 2018 – when Lajčák was serving as Slovakia's foreign minister – Lajčák and Epstein were seen in the published messages discussing women and an upcoming meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

After Epstein sent an image, which cannot be seen in these recent publications, Lajcak responds: "Why don't you invite me to these games? I would take the 'MI' girl."

"Who wouldn't," Epstein replies to the message. "You can have both, I'm not possessive. And their sisters."
