Singer Lady Gaga has canceled the final show of her tour on doctor's advice. She announced on Instagram that she will not perform at the third and final concert at the Bell Centre due to a respiratory infection.
Gaga said she was sad to have to cancel the concert and apologized to fans who were expecting to go.
She said that previous concerts in Montreal were magical and special and that her heart aches for those who were waiting for today's concert. Her Mayhem Ball Tour, which kicked off in February in Glendale, has been to various North American cities, including Boston, Washington and Montreal.
The tour was extended to September 2026 with new dates and cities. Gaga has previously canceled several concerts for health reasons, including a concert in Miami due to vocal cord problems.
She added that choosing arenas allows her greater control over concert details, which is not possible in stadiums.
