Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, during his stay in Barcelona, spoke to the newspaper "El Periodico". Kurti said that Spain should have recognized Kosovo as a state long ago, Express reports.
Kurti has said that he is working to make such a thing happen since there is no disagreement between the two states.
"I would tell them that Spain should not equate the Kosovo case with its own territorial tensions. Serbia committed genocide; there is no way to draw parallels between Madrid and Belgrade. There is no possible comparison, and Spain should have recognized Kosovo a long time ago, although there is still time to do so. I am working towards this and I hope they will. We have no disagreements with Spain. There are no obstacles to recognizing Kosovo. The sooner this changes, the better," Kurti told El Periodico./Express/
