The leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, spoke today about the offer he made to the PDK and LDK in exchange for an agreement for the presidency.
Kurti said that his offer was generous, while suggesting Bedri Hamza and Lumir Abdixhiku to ask the European party groups they are affiliated with about the offer he made to them.
According to Kurti, the EPP would not agree with Abdixhiku's decision to reject the offer of a deputy prime minister and four ministers.
Kurti says that "Renew Europe" would also suggest to Hamza that he accept the offer with the Speaker of Parliament.
"If the president asks the European People's Party (EPP) and tells them that Kurti, with 66 MPs, offered me the position of deputy prime minister and four ministers and I said no, I am convinced that they will not welcome him. Let me ask Chancellor Merz, Donald Tusk, let me ask Abdixhiku, let me ask his European friends, don't ask me. Let me ask Hamza Renew Europe whether he should accept the Speaker of the Parliament, they will say yes," Kurti said.
