The acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, at the campaign rally for the local election runoff, also spoke about the country's budget, saying that he does not give state money to "those mayors who do not know how to work or to those who steal."
Kurti has asked citizens not to vote for those who "don't know how to do their job and don't want to do it."
''We want Kosovo to be inhabited in all its corners, we do not want the abandonment of villages or towns, this is something that Germany and the Scandinavian countries have managed to do like no other in Europe. The people of Kosovo have a rare maturity, exemplary patriotism and a modern youth, you will see that this people will surprise them in the run-off and will vote against the blockages and backstage blocs.
"You know, I don't give the state budget and tax money to those mayors who don't know how to work well or to those who steal. Don't vote for those who don't know how and don't want to work, nor for those who know how and want to steal," he said, among other things.
