Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that in this year's budget, the headline is its total figure, of nearly 4 billion euros.
He said in Parliament that the 13th salary for public sector employees is "an innovation of this budget."
Kurti mentioned the opposition's criticism of the increase in imports. He said that this also comes from the "purchasing power" in the country, which he said has increased thanks to government support with subsidies.
"It comes not only from increased purchasing power, because we have increased aggregate demand, with this distribution, not a little has happened to those who have less," he said, among other things.
Kurti mentioned "support for families."
He said that the opposition's criticisms and objections will be "completely valid if they are reasonable" when this year's budget is reviewed in a few months.
"All the criticisms and objections that were made to us, the arguments of the opposition, will be completely valid if they are reasonable even when we bring the budget review in a few months, which will be preceded by the government program that will be discussed with you here," Kurti said.
