After the meeting he had with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, the Prime Minister of Kosovo indicated that he had also written to another party about an offer.
After exhausting options with Abdixhiku's party, Kurti said he sent a message to the PDK leader, Bedri Hamza.
"Before coming here, I sent a message to the PDK leader, Bedri Hamza, and let's see what is possible to move forward," Kurti said.
However, he added that the offer that was for the LDK does not apply to the PDK.
"Our proposal, our offer that was rejected for co-government with LDK, was exclusive to LDK. You must understand that LDK itself has never considered that the presidency belongs to it. You must understand the difficult situation I am in, I cannot become LDK any more than LDK itself," Kurti said.
Kurti, after the fruitless meeting with Abdixhiku on the issue of the president, has revealed details of the two offers he made to the latter.
He said that he offered the LDK leader the post of Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and three other ministries.
Kurti even said that he himself proposed the position of Deputy Prime Minister to Abdixhiku.
Another offer that, according to him, was rejected by the LDK is the proposal that the position of Speaker of the Assembly should belong to this party, meaning that the LDK vice-president should switch places with the Speaker of the Assembly from the ranks of the LVV.
