The country's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, at today's media conference, where he declared about President Vjosa Osmani's decision to decree the dissolution of the Parliament, also spoke about the communications he has had with opposition leaders.
The Prime Minister, during his speech, announced that he had held telephone conversations with the leader of the PDK, Bedri Hamza, and the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, reports Express.
He said that between him and the opposition leaders, "there is no mediator and this is a good sign."
"But I also thank them for another thing, that even when we have not met, we have communicated with each other by phone. We have neither secretaries nor assistant mediators. So between the two leaders of the opposition parties, PDK and LDK, and me, there is no mediator and this is a good sign of parliamentarism, of political cooperation in our Republic. But, a good atmosphere does not guarantee agreement, it does not bring concrete steps and this is the reality in which we live today," Kurti said at today's conference.
