The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, spoke after the meeting with the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku.
The meeting ended without agreement on the position of President.
Kurti said that the LDK has never asked for the position of President, and he cannot offer something that is not asked of him.
Kurti said that LDK has 15 MPs and they know that position does not belong to them.
"LDK itself has not considered that it deserves the position of President and has not requested such a thing. I cannot offer what is not requested. There are some elementary rules in the talks, LDK with 15 MPs does not believe that it has the right to request the position of President," he said.
On April 28, the constitutional deadline for electing the President expires, the failure of which process automatically leads the country to extraordinary parliamentary elections. /Gazeta Express
