Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, during the opening of the campaign for the November 9th runoff, stated that according to him, efforts are being made to stop Kosovo's "rise and growth".

The same person said that the only way for them to advance their agenda is for VV to win ''more than convincingly'', writes Gazeta Express.

"You are seeing how many efforts are being made to stop Kosovo's rise and growth. It was seen that VV is not enough to win by a narrow margin or even just to come out first, you have to win more than convincingly, because this is the only way to advance our developmental, progressive and social, state and national agenda," he declared.

Furthermore, Kurti also called on the diaspora to vote, while those who are not registered to vote by mail, asked them to come and vote physically.

"On behalf of all of you, I once again call on our compatriots, our beloved diaspora, to vote by mail until November 8th for those who are registered. And for those who are not registered, if they have the slightest opportunity, however small, to come and vote physically. Every vote is valid, every vote can make a difference," Kurti added.

Further, the acting prime minister also declared about the parliamentary elections, towards which he said the country is heading, and that the local elections are what will also influence the "fate" of the general elections.

"It seems that we are also heading towards early parliamentary elections, but these local elections are also influential on the fate of the general elections, so don't leave it for a moment, come out and support our candidates because this gives us energy to win even more and stronger in the next parliamentary elections," Kurti said. /Express newspaper
