Former Kosovo Assembly member Ilir Deda has reacted after there was no agreement between the Vetëvendosje Movement and the LDK.
He rhetorically asked whether there were consultations for presidential elections or for a governing coalition.
Deda further said that Kurti has goals for absolute control.
"Did we have consultations for presidential elections or for a governing coalition? Talks for a joint VV-LDK government could take place in January and February. Then talks for a president could also be held and this topic would be concluded."
"But here is the one who calls for geopolitics to be led by the left, while at home he offers foreign policy to the right, does not want a political process for the figure of the president, nor does he want a consensual president, nor does he want successful governance. Self-generated and permanent crises have only one goal - absolute control. And such political goals are punished in a society with democratic capacity," Deda wrote on Facebook.
There are eight days left in the constitutional time frame to vote for the President; if the process fails, the country will automatically go to elections. /Gazeta Express
