The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has announced that following the ratification of the agreements on the Growth Plan between Kosovo and the European Commission, the transfer of financial resources worth 61.8 million euros as pre-financing has begun.

According to him, around 29 million euros have been transferred in the form of loans directly to the state budget, while the remaining part of around 33 million euros will be channeled through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), including 17.73 million euros in grants and 15.31 million euros in loans.

Kurti emphasized that Kosovo remains committed to implementing the Reform Agenda and utilizing the opportunities offered by the Growth Plan.

"Following the ratification of the agreements on the Growth Plan between Kosovo and the European Commission, today the transfer of financial resources worth 61.8 million euros as pre-financing within the framework of this plan began. Of this amount, nearly 29 million euros have been transferred as loans directly to the state budget, while another 33 million euros, of which 17.73 million in the form of grants and 15.31 million as loans, will be channeled through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF). Kosovo is focused on implementing the Reform Agenda and fully utilizing the opportunities offered by the Growth Plan. The government is taking all steps to fulfill them on time, but we remember that this is a joint agenda that includes all pillars of the state: the executive, the judiciary and the parliament. We thank the European Union for this step, while we are engaged in implementing the next steps," he said.
