The acting head of the Government of Kosovo and the president of LVV, Albin Kurti, received today in his office members of the "Prishtina" alpine club, who are preparing to climb Kilimanjaro.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was informed about the group's final plans and preparations before departing for Tanzania, where they intend to climb the summit of Kilimanjaro, at an altitude of 5895 meters, on the anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
The organizers and representatives of the mountaineering group stated that this idea was intended as a form of representing and promoting the country through mountain sports.
During this meeting, Kurti was also presented with a compass.
