The Kosovo men's sand volleyball team has recorded a magnificent victory in the U22 Balkan Championship taking place in Tetovo, defeating North Macedonia with complete dominance.
In an extraordinary performance, the duo of Dilon Latifaj and Erind Qalaj, under the guidance of coach Fatlum Hajrizi, left no doubt of triumph. With determined play, Kosovo achieved a deep 2:0 victory in sets.
This victory not only brings the boys of Kosovo closer to the next phase of the tournament, but also proves the increasing level of sand volleyball in our country, especially in the younger categories.
The enthusiastic support from Albanian fans in Tetovo also played an important role in this triumph.
Latifaj and Qalaj return to action tomorrow, June 26, when they face Moldova in the third group stage match. The match takes place at 17:45.
