The Directorate for International Police Cooperation, ILECU, has arrested a suspect, wanted by an international arrest warrant.
"On 16.02.2026, police officers from the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in cooperation and coordination with other units of the Kosovo Police, arrested a Kosovo citizen, who was wanted through INTERPOL with an international arrest warrant issued by the Federal Republic of Germany for the criminal offenses of 'serious injury resulting in death' and 'vandalism'", the police announced, Express reports.
The police confirm that by order of the Custodian Prosecutor, "the arrested person is sent to police custody for 48 hours, to continue with other legal procedures."
