Kosovo Police conducted an operation in Kosovo Polje, in which investigators from Austria also participated.
Kosovo authorities, at the request of Austrian authorities, have conducted investigations against two suspects for committing several criminal offenses in Vienna.
"The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, supported by the relevant police units, has conducted investigations based on the authorization issued by the P. Th -Pristina, which was based on the request from the Austrian authorities through International Legal Assistance - NJN, against two Kosovar male suspects under suspicion of committing various criminal offenses in the capital of Austria - Vienna. After undertaking investigative actions, on 05.05.2026 a police operation was conducted where checks were carried out in three different locations in Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje, in which investigators from the state of Austria also participated," a Police announcement states.
Police say that "the case continues to remain under investigation in terms of identifying assets or any type of material benefit that may be in the possession of the suspects and which is suspected of having been obtained through criminal activity."
