Kosovo U20 scored a victory in the first match of the FIBA U20 EuroBasket, Division B, with a score of 71:64 (12:17, 24:15, 16:19, 19:13).
The young Dardanians played a fantastic match, dominating most of the time. The first half started better for the Swedes, who won the first quarter with a score of 12:17. However, in the second period, the Dardanians came back strongly, winning the second quarter with a score of 24:15.
In the third period, the Swedes came back again, winning it with a score of 16:19, but after a very interesting game, the young Dardanians regained the lead and secured the victory with an overall score of 71:64.
The best players for Kosovo were Orges Shatri with 20 points, Jon Ismajli with 14 points and Rron Dahsyla with 13 points.
