Jurgen Klopp has already told Liverpool which Premier League star should replace Mohamed Salah.
Salah will this summer bring to an end nine trophy-laden seasons at Anfield, a period during which he has won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup and twice the EFL Cup, as well as an FA Community Shield.
Now Liverpool face the difficult task of replacing a player who has scored over 250 goals from the wing.
RB Leipzig teenager Yan Diomande has been mentioned by many as a top transfer target for Reds boss Arne Slott this summer.
It is reported that a meeting has already taken place between Liverpool and Diomande's agents, but former Reds manager Klopp may have other ideas.
In December 2023, Klopp called the West Ham United star "probably my favourite player apart from my own players", adding: "It's just fantastic what he's doing and the way he's developing."
Speaking in November 2021, Jurgen Klopp said: "I really like Jarrod Bowen. He started his journey at Hull City and it didn't take him long to get where he is, showing exactly what kind of player he can be in the Premier League too."
Klopp's praise was also backed up by Michael Owen, who told talkSPORT about Bowen: "I've said it to a few of my mates in the last few days. I said, if I could pick one player...
"Now, of course, Jarrod Bowen is a legendary player, the West Ham United fans adore him and rightly so. But if West Ham were to be relegated, he would be perfect for me. I think he is absolutely brilliant.
"I was lucky enough to do a striker masterclass on a TV show last season with him, and I couldn't believe it. Honestly, left foot, right foot, powerful shots, crosses, speed. I mean, a top-level finisher."
