The King of the United Kingdom, Charles III, has congratulated Kosovo on its 18th anniversary of independence, which is marked on February 17th.
He wrote to President Vjosa Osmani, a message that was transmitted by the United Kingdom Embassy in Kosovo.
The message states that this day serves as a precious opportunity to reflect on the enduring friendship between our nations.

Dear Madam President,
On the occasion of your Independence Day, my wife and I express to Your Excellency and the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo our most heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes.
This day serves as an opportunity to precious to reflect on the enduring friendship between our nations. I am deeply encouraged by the strength of our bilateral relationship and remain committed to fostering even closer cooperation in the years to come.
As we face the shared challenges of our time, particularly those related to climate and the preservation of our natural world, I hope that our countries will continue to work together in search of meaningful and long-term solutions.
My wife and I send our most sincere greetings to you and all Kosovars for peace, prosperity, and well-being in the coming year.
