After many rumors circulating for a long time, Kanye West's arrival in Tirana has now been confirmed by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Facebook.
The American rapper is expected to stop in the Albanian capital on July 11, a date that coincides with his previously canceled performance at the Wireless Festival in the United Kingdom, due to anti-Semitic comments and a song he released titled “Heil Hitler,” writes online newspaper Reporteri.net. The concert will be part of a promotional tour for his latest album, “Bully.”
According to information published in "The Andidote", the event will be held at Eagle Stadium, an open-air stadium that will be built on the outskirts of Tirana and is expected to have a capacity of 30 spectators.
It is reported that the structure will be built by specialized companies that also design facilities for Formula 1 races.
For its construction, as reported media in Albania, around 300 trucks of steel materials are expected to arrive, while the cost of the stadium is estimated at between 6 and 8 million euros. The total investment for the event could reach around 10 million euros.

Ticket prices are also expected to be high, starting from 250 euros plus additional fees, up to 1000 euros for VIP packages. Ticket sales are reported to start on May 5 for registered exclusive subscribers, and from May 6 for the general public.
Although, for Albanians, this concert is expected to place Tirana among the European cities hosting major international events during 2026, - also serving as a test for the infrastructure and organization of activities of this level - in fact, the American rapper has stirred up controversy and reactions in Western countries and Australia in recent years, after his controversial statements that have also led to concert cancellations, year after year.
Due to concerns about anti-Semitism, the controversial American rapper also known as "Ye" has had several concerts canceled in Europe, the UK and Australia.
