The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has informed the public that Unit A4 of the Kosovo A Power Plant has successfully returned to operation.
The operation took place after the completion of repair works on the boiler piping system and the creation of the necessary technical conditions for start-up.
KEK thanked all employees and professional mechanical maintenance teams.

Announcement – Return to operation of Unit A4 of TPP Kosovo A
The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK sh.a.) informs the public that Unit A4 of the Kosovo A Power Plant has successfully returned to operation, following the completion of repair works on the boiler piping system and the creation of the necessary technical conditions for start-up.
The unit's start-up, in full compliance with technical and safety standards, was carried out in the early hours of the morning, while the synchronization process was successfully completed around 09:00.
KEK expresses special gratitude to all employees, professional mechanical maintenance and electrical maintenance teams for the professionalism, dedication and readiness shown throughout the entire process of remediation and return of the unit to operation.
These commitments demonstrate the continued commitment of KEK and the staff of TC Kosova A to ensuring the stability and reliability of electricity production.
