Reports from Italy claim that Juventus are interested in a potential deal for former Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, who is currently on loan at Porto on a deal with an obligation to buy.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus will strengthen their defence this summer and are still hoping for a free transfer for Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth, but Kiwior also remains interested.

This is not the first time Juventus have been linked with the Polish player, who has Serie A experience from his time at Spezia.

Juventus were also said to be interested in him during various stages of 2024 and 2025.

According to the latest report, Juventus see Kiwior as a potential option to compete with, or even replace, Lloyd Kelly at left-back under Luciano Spalletti.

The Kiwior is currently on loan at Porto from Arsenal in a deal that includes a €23m purchase option, including bonuses and add-ons.

Tuttosport reports that Juventus sporting director Marco Ottolini was recently in Portugal, and suggests that talks over a possible deal for Kiwior were part of the agenda.

According to Tuttosport, Porto will demand a fee of around €35 million to sell Kiwior this summer, which would bring them an immediate profit after activating the buy-out clause./Express newspaper/
