Manchester United have reportedly offered Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee to two Serie A clubs, Juventus and Roma, as his time at Old Trafford appears to be coming to an end.
The 25-year-old has had a difficult time since his transfer from Bologna in the summer of 2024, and Manchester United executives are said to have decided to sell him this summer.
His market value has dropped below €25 million, a sum that is affordable for both Juventus and Roma, making a return to Serie A a real option.
According to Calciomercato.it, Juventus are seen as the most likely destination, with the plan for a deal to be structured as a loan with an option or obligation to buy.
This would allow the Turin club to reduce the initial cost and at the same time assess whether Zirkzee can return to the form that made him one of the most promising strikers in Serie A during his time at Bologna.
Roma's interest is still more unclear, but the need for reinforcements in attack - especially if a Mason Greenwood transfer doesn't materialise - makes Zirkzee an attractive and economical option.
