Arsenal FC striker Gabriel Jesus has hinted that a summer exit could be a possibility, after expressing a desire to return to the club where he began his career, Palmeiras.
In an interview with Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte, the Brazilian striker spoke openly about his future, sparking speculation about a departure from the Emirates Stadium.
Although he is under contract until 2027, the 29-year-old has not had a regular role this season, especially after returning from a long injury lay-off. He has so far registered 31 goals and 22 assists in 119 appearances for the Gunners, but limited minutes have often seen him relegated to the back of the pecking order behind the likes of Kai Havertz.

The desire to return to Brazil
Jesus has admitted that his emotional connection to Palmeiras remains very strong, a club with which he played 83 games, scoring 28 goals and providing 8 assists before moving to Manchester City in 2017.
"At the moment my focus is on Arsenal, helping the team and the coach in the way required. But when the season is over, I will think about the future. My desire is to return to Palmeiras one day and win even more trophies," he said.
No concrete offers

Despite his desire to return, the striker stressed that he has not yet received any official offer from the Brazilian club. He underlined that any decision will depend not only on his personal desire, but also on the concrete steps taken by Palmeiras.
What is expected next?
Gabriel Jesus' future remains open. The ball is now in Arsenal's hands, who must decide whether to offer him a contract extension or sell him during the summer transfer window, with speculation expected to continue until the final decision is made. /GazetaExpress/
