United States President Donald Trump has accused Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement, following recent incidents in the Strait of Hormuz.

In another reaction on the Truth Social platform, Trump states that Tehran "decided to open fire yesterday," calling this a direct violation of the agreement between the parties.

According to him, the shots were directed at a French ship and a merchant ship from the United Kingdom. It wasn't a nice thing, was it?", Trump writes, ironizing the situation.

The White House chief also described Iran's decision to close the strait as "strange," claiming that the US blockade had already made sea passage impossible. He added that Iran is losing up to $500 million a day from this situation, while according to him, the United States is not suffering any damage.

On the other hand, Iranian authorities have rejected the accusations, claiming that it is the United States itself that has violated the terms of the ceasefire by imposing a naval blockade on Iranian ports./TCH
