According to Lebanese state media, Israeli forces have today struck the southern Lebanese town of Qantara, carrying out a "bombing operation." The Israeli military has not yet commented on the attack, writes the BBC.
Earlier, the IDF said it had struck a Hezbollah rocket launcher in the Kfarkela area, about 8.5 km from Qantara.
The attacks come despite a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon that went into effect on April 16-17. Under the agreement, Lebanon is to prevent armed groups like Hezbollah from attacking Israel, while the IDF says it remains present in the south due to Hezbollah's continued activity.
