The Vice President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Uran Ismaili, together with his wife, went to Skenderaj for a visit to the mayor of the municipality, Sami Lushtaku.
Referring to yesterday's events in Skenderaj, Ismaili said that Albin Kurti's "script" for "violence" failed there.
"Together with Arizona, we spent the morning at the house of our friend, Sami Lushtaku, in Skenderaj. The events of the last few days targeted the city of Skenderaj, sending numerous police forces. I am happy that civic organization and cooperation with institutions made Albin Kurti's scenario of violence impossible. A comrade-in-arms of Adem Jashari, Ilaz Kodra, Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli cannot be insulted and tarnished with the label "Serbia" - which he fought with his whole being. The KLA is a universal value of our people and as such must be respected by everyone," Ismaili wrote.
In Skenderaj yesterday, several citizens gathered in front of the police station where Lushtaku was interviewed about the incident where the head of the Vetëvendosje branch, Hysni Mehani, was attacked.
