A rare satellite image has revealed Ireland completely cloudless, offering an extraordinary view of the island in the height of spring.

The photo was taken on April 29 by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-3 satellites, part of the European Space Agency's Earth monitoring program.

According to experts, such a cloudless view is very rare for Ireland, known for its humid and often cloudy climate.

The image shows the dominance of bright green tones throughout the territory, reflecting the dense development of vegetation at this time of year.

The central plains appear as an agricultural mosaic, while the mountainous areas appear darker due to sparser plant cover.

On the eastern coastline, blue-turquoise hues are also visible in the waters, indicating the presence of suspended sediments, formed by river discharges and sea currents.

Copernicus satellites are used to monitor climate, environment and oceans, providing high-precision data for scientific studies and environmental forecasts.

The image has been selected as "Photo of the Day" by Copernicus and has attracted great attention on social networks, where users have described it as a rare and impressive view of the "Green Island". /GazetaExpress/
