Inter director Piero Ausilio has confirmed that Barcelona have not yet opened official talks for defender Alessandro Bastoni, but has hinted that if there is interest, the Catalan club "knows the phone numbers...".

Barcelona have set their sights on Bastoni and several sources have reported that negotiations between the player's agent and the Catalan club have already begun, but there is still no direct contact between the clubs.
"Bastoni has a contract with Inter and, to date, I don't think there are any circumstances that indicate his departure from Inter," Ausilio told reporters in Coverciano, via Tuttomercatoweb (TMW).
According to reports from "Mundo Deportivo", Bastoni is seen as Barcelona's main target for the defense in the 2026-27 season, and his options would be either a transfer to Barcelona or staying at Inter, despite interest from other clubs such as Liverpool.
Ausilio added: "I don't know what others say. We are happy with Bastoni and what he has given to Inter. I am sure he has a lot more to give to Inter."
He added with irony: "If there is interest in Baston, they know the phone numbers; they should call instead of talking."
Meanwhile, Inter are close to winning the Serie A title, having a huge lead over Napoli, while the club is already planning reinforcements for next season, including Marco Palestra from Atalanta./Express newspaper/
