In an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, the 56-year-old star spoke openly about the years of silence and the rumors that spread against her, emphasizing that few people knew what she was really going through.
"They didn't know my story, or what I was going through for the last 20 years trying to have a family, because I don't come out and share my problems. It's nobody's business," she said.
Then, he added: "But there comes a point when you can't listen to it anymore, the rumor that I don't want a child, I don't want a family, because I'm selfish or I work too much. It touched me, I'm human too, like all of us."
The actress emphasized that the older she gets, the less she feels the need to talk about this issue.
"The news cycle is so fast now, everything is forgotten. Of course, there are times when I feel the need for justice, when something is written that is untrue and I feel like I have to correct it. But then I think about whether I really have to correct it. My family knows the truth, my friends know the truth.
