Hollywood actor Brad Pitt surprised followers with a direct statement during an interview on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast.

When asked about his personal life, Pitt candidly stated that he has never had an 'experience with a man.' "I have never had an experience with a man," the 61-year-old said. He added:

"I'm a little late, but if I had been, you wouldn't be the one coming."

He continued with irony, saying that Shepard would be “14th or 15th in line” on an imaginary list for such experiences. The segment was met with laughter in the studio, with Shepard taking it in stride, retorting in the same tone: “You’re going to have to prepare well for me.”

Although the statement was part of a humorous moment, it has attracted great attention in the media and social networks, as it comes from one of the biggest names in world cinema and who rarely speaks so openly about his personal life.

Brad Pitt also recalled his first visit to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting after his divorce from Angelina Jolie. This period of his life was extremely turbulent for him and he decided to seek professional help.

"I needed to come to my senses about some things. I tried anything and everything, everything that people offered me. It was a difficult period. I needed a restart of my life," he said during an appearance on the "Armchair Expert" podcast.

He went to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting for a year and a half after his split from Angelina Jolie in 2016. He now says he initially felt intimidated when it was his turn to talk about his alcohol addiction, but was encouraged by others who spoke openly about their problem.

"It encourages you to say: 'Okay, I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and see what happens,' and then I really liked it," said the actor, adding that he grew up in an environment where men insisted that their lives be wonderful.
